Notification email

HeyDeer sends a workspace’s credit, payment and GitHub access emails to one shared address. Workspace admins change it in Workspace settings → Notifications.

Change the notification email

The address starts as the verified GitHub email of the person who set up the workspace. A team address works well. HeyDeer never uses it for marketing.

  1. Open Workspace settings → Notifications.
  2. Enter the new address in Email address and select Send verification code.
  3. Enter the 8-digit code from the email in Verification code, then select Verify and save. Codes expire after 30 minutes.

The current address keeps receiving emails until the new one is verified.

To use your own verified primary GitHub email without a code, select Use my GitHub email. If HeyDeer can’t read it, select Reauthorize GitHub and allow email access.
