Plans and add-on credits
Compare Free and paid plans, and add credits when monthly credits run short.

Workspace admins choose a plan in Usage & billing → Overview. The pricing page shows current discounts.
Every plan includes unlimited developers and repositories with no seat fees, repository checks and Fix with HeyDeer. Deep reviews and connectors require a paid plan.
The parallel limit applies to each repository separately and covers reviews and fixes together. Further reviews wait in the queue.
Free plan
Every new workspace starts on Free. Its first month begins when the workspace is created and includes 1,000 credits in total. Later months include 300 credits. Free is available to individuals and teams, includes private repositories, and runs 1 review at a time in each repository. No credit card is required.
When Free credits run out, add credits, wait for the next monthly refresh or choose a paid plan. Free never turns into a paid plan automatically. Upgrading starts a paid month immediately with its full credits; unused Free credits keep their original expiry date.
Public repositories
Reviews of public repositories are free up to a fair-use limit. Reviews over the limit and fixes use workspace credits, like in private repositories. Workspace admins can see which reviews were free in Usage & billing → Usage. Popular public repositories can also run more reviews at once than the Free plan includes.
Add-on credits
On any plan, including Free, select Add credits in Usage & billing → Overview. Add-on credits start at $5, at a base rate of $10 for 1,000 credits.
Each purchase gets 10% off from $20, 20% off from $100, or 30% off from $500, based on its price before discount. The same discounts apply to every plan. For example, 2,000 credits have a base price of $20; after the discount, you pay $18.
Add-on credits carry over between periods and don’t increase the number of reviews that run at once. On a paid plan, turn on auto-reload to add them automatically.
Expiry and spending order

HeyDeer spends the credits that expire soonest first.
Change or cancel a plan
- Upgrades, from Change plan in Usage & billing → Overview, apply when you pay. You pay the difference for the rest of the period, get a matching share of the extra monthly credits, and keep your renewal date.
- Downgrades apply at the next renewal. To cancel one, choose Keep current plan in Change plan.
- To cancel, select Usage & billing → Overview → Billing portal. The plan stays until the end of the paid period, then the workspace returns to Free. You can select Resume subscription before then.
When a renewal payment is pending
While a renewal payment is pending, the plan stays active until the date shown in Overview and can’t be changed.
If the payment fails or your bank asks you to confirm it, HeyDeer emails the workspace. Select Complete payment in Overview. If it’s still unpaid after that, the workspace returns to Free.
Payments and invoices
Usage & billing → Payments lists every payment with its invoice or receipt. Change invoice details with Edit billing details, and your card with Billing portal in Overview.
HeyDeer doesn’t charge sales tax or VAT.
